Simple Summer Delights
Summer is my JAM. Just for fun...here are ten simple things delighting me this summer. What’s delighting you right now? Share yours in the comments!
- Seeing the new Mission Impossible movie in the theater with popcorn and reclining seats.

- Cutting branches from my little herb garden to use in the kitchen (this year: basil, mint, cilantro, and oregano).

- Spending long hours swaying in the breeze with our new backyard hammock stand.

- Replacing one weekend meal with a massive spread of fresh bread, Greek olive oil for dipping, apricot preserves, cherries and nectarines, and a smattering of cheeses and spreads.

- Appreciating that two bathing suits are always on the drying rack and one is ready for adventures, because I've been swimming and playing so much.

- Reading pointless novels with voracious and guiltless greed.

- Loving my summer wardrobe of little dresses, shorts, sandals, coverups, crop tops, freckles, frizz, and big hats.

- Trying new recipes and crafting special, fresh, meals very slowly while I listen to 70s music and silly podcasts.

- Scrolling through the hundreds of photos I took in Greece and being instantly transported back to that unforgettable vacation feeling.

- Relishing my dreamy, lazy summer stupor, instead of fighting it or judging it.
