Navigating Your Inner World

This might be my most important audio lesson. I believe that the secret to feeling good and doing amazing things is to be constantly attuned to your feelings and your desires AND accept them as sacred truth. I distill my wisdom into 5 teachings about feelings and desires. And I share my simple and powerful tool for staying connected to yourself and building self-trust. Learning to attune to and accept your feelings and desires is a skill that will completely change your life. (And I don't say that lightly!)

Your body knows what's best for you. It's constantly sending you information about which direction to go--what's giving you life and what's draining it. When you learn how to interpret and respond to its signals, you have a built-in compass. I encourage you to do MORE of what makes your body sing and LESS of what your body rejects (even if you don't cognitively understand or approve), and notice how much energy and vitality follows.

Why am I so confused all the time, and what are all these different voices in my head? I share the difference between your lizard brain (loud, fear-based, protective, critical) and your soul (quiet, intuitive, calm, loving, liberating). I share how to distinguish between the two and how to recognize and talk to your inner lizard so you can (1) disbelieve painful thoughts and (2) lead your life from soul instead of fear. Welcome to Dreamweaving! As you enter the Dreamspace, I want you to understand the difference between desires and goals and how that distinction can change your life (and the world). We're taught to set GOALS and make plans in order to one day maybe feel the way we want to feel (hint: it keeps us stressed out and unfulfilled). But when we flip the script and lead our life from a place of embodied DESIRE--and let our practical brains support our soul-mission--we live with joy and purpose. When you're ready to bring your plans and dreams to life, here are some strategies and things to keep in mind. (1) Toggle between eagle vision/mouse vision and yin/yang. (2) Keep checking in to make sure you're in alignment with your Essential Self and your body. (3) Take turtle steps - the tiniest step you can take in the direction of your goal. (4) Bring grace to your discipline - try "daily-ish." (5) Expect "failures" and setbacks, grieve them, roll with them, adjust, and keep showing up. (6) Manifesting doesn't happen without hard work and actually showing up. (7) Enjoy the process!

This is an enthusiastic pep talk about the vast benefits of saying "no" when something isn't aligned with your joy or violates your limits. But even when you want to say "no," actually doing it can be SO HARD. I share specific strategies for how to say "no," how to take care of yourself through the crazy discomfort, and how to find empowering freedom through the process.

When one part of you dies, another part emerges. Square One of my teacher Martha Beck’s change cycle is called “Death and Rebirth.” This stage of change often follows a catalytic event like a shock, ending, or opportunity that changes everything—or sometimes it arises when we’ve outgrown an aspect of our life. I call this period “the void” because it often feels like we’ve completely dissolved into darkness and uncertainty, and it can be disorienting, scary, and sad. We have no idea what’s next, and we are grieving and overwhelmed. In this audio I share how to best support yourself through these difficult periods, and I remind you that change is not a failing; change is evolution.
