Breathwork for Releasing and Connecting

Tara Jones of Makia Rising talked to us about the power of breathwork during this difficult time. She led us through several minutes of very active breathing, followed by a short rest to soak up the sensations. The three-part breath she teaches quickly quiets the worried mind and purges the body and nervous system of emotional debris and helps us be more present in our hearts.

Tara Jones is a Breathwork Healing Facilitator, Massage Therapist, and the owner of Makia Rising. For 20 years she has been part of the Healing Arts community, where she has had the privilege of developing strong relationships with clients.
