Breathwork for Releasing and Connecting

About this Gathering

Breathwork is an active form of Meditation and Somatic healing practice. It uses a three part breath that quickly quiets the worried mind and purges the body and nervous system of emotional debris so we can be more present in our hearts. When we bring consciousness to breathing, we can re-center and ground our bodies fast. It is an experience that feels like returning home, which is exactly what we all need right now. By the end, we will feel recharged and renewed, and have a quick practice to start fresh everyday.

The power of breathing together in a group amplifies the sacred container of support. Virtually we can hold that space and come together worldwide. Come join a like-minded community to recharge your batteries, feel some feels, release what you don’t need and discover you are powerful, LIFE is precious, and we will get through this together. This physically embodied practice:

* Facilitates emotional and energetic release

* Helps to clear a foggy, stuck mind

* Activates creative energy flow

* Wakes you up to a greater expansive awareness

* Nourishes the heart and helps you align with self-love

* Calms the mind and helps ground your body

Event time is listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

About the Facilitator

Tara Jones is a Breathwork Healing Facilitator, Massage Therapist, and the owner of Makia Rising. For 20 years she has been part of the Healing Arts community, where she has had the privilege of developing strong relationships with clients. She believes that healing starts from a positive frame of mind that "we are not broken." Most of us carry around tension, pain, fear, and outdated beliefs tucked deep in our bodies and nervous systems. Starting the process of letting go and integrating, sometimes just requires loving care of our body, plus the willingness to keep an open heart and mind. Tara would be honored to hold space for you and help guide you in your healing process so you can live the healthy, balanced life you've always wanted.

A Note from Quinn

Tara has been part of my Boston care team for many years, as my massage therapist at Inman Oasis and now as a breathwork facilitator. My first 90-minute group breathwork session with Tara was powerful. I moved through anxiety and major resistance at the beginning as oxygen flooded my system. Tara helped me stay with it and I allowed myself to let go. I felt a primal releasing of stuck energy and deeply calming connection with my soulbody. I can’t wait for more!
