The Retreat Space offers a soulful blog, a free self-care library, and online classes.

We invite you to pause, take your body off the treadmill of life, and put your feet back on the earth.

Hi! I’m Quinn Corte (she/her), creator of The Retreat Space.

I created this space in March 2020 as a place for people to connect and explore ways to play, heal, and grow during the lockdown. The idea has ripened and deepened during this transformative pandemic era. It is now a trauma-informed, healing-oriented, anti-racist space that celebrates our uniqueness as individuals and the power of collective care.

We teach soulful self-care practices that are rooted in community, slowing down, checking in with our bodies, radical compassion, honoring the range of the human experience, and being curious and playful.

We love to work with like-minded facilitators who want to share their healing gifts and expertise.

Our work is accessible and fueled by community donations. Offerings are either free or priced on a shame-free sliding scale, with a portion of all income going to mutual aid organizations that prioritize the care of marginalized communities.

Submit a Question for Q&A

What are you struggling with lately?

Maybe you don’t know how to get started on a passion project, stop overcommitting with your family, or let yourself off the hook so you can rest.

Whatever it is, you’re not alone.

I’m experimenting with adding a Q&A section to the newsletter. A place where you can share your questions about what's hard, and I can offer supportive insights, reflections, and resources.

I would be honored and grateful to hear what's feeling tough these days. And so would our readers!
